The Château de Bournazel is a true Renaissance jewel in the South of France. The château and its garden transport visitors into a humanist golden age forever lost.
The château's architecture, sculpted decoration and garden represent one the most beautiful creations from the time of François I, expressing the 16th century patron's intellectual sophistication.
Partially destroyed during the French Revolution then remodelled in the 19th century, this exceptional site is being returned to its former glory thanks to the restoration of its original elements and a faithful reconstruction of those lost to the past using traditional craftsmen.
Guided tours allow visitors to discover the history and architecture of this Historic Monument, as well as its collection of paintings, sculptures and furniture from the 16th to 18th centuries.
Private guided visits out of hours are available year round for groups of 20 and above.
Duration: approximately 1 hour, 2h with the gardens.
